We have a variation of packages to suit all your requirements for this new development

To make your choice easier we are giving  a brief explanation of the systems, which we feel will help you in making a  more informed choice in regards to which air conditioning system  is the most suitable for your home.

Multi split systems

  • With a multi split system, you would have two or more indoor units connected to one outdoor unit called the condensing unit.  The advantage of this system is that only one outdoor unit needs to be installed on the outside wall of your property.  Whilst this may be a good solution the disadvantages are that a much larger outdoor unit has to be installed on the outside wall.  The other disadvantage is that the running costs would be relatively higher because even if only one of the indoor units were to be in use at any one time, then it would still consume the electricity consumption for the 2 units.  Similarly, if one of the units were to malfunction or if the outdoor unit (controlling both indoor units) was to fail, then this would render both units in-operative.

It is our opinion that whilst there is no cost saving whatsoever in purchasing the multi split system, which sometimes can be more expensive than purchasing separate units, it is our honest advise that unless space saving plays an integral part of your decision, these multi split systems are not necessary.

    Multi-Split Air Conditioning Systems

    multisplit.gif

A Polar Air installed Multi-Split system can air condition from two to seven rooms using only one outdoor unit. Multi-Split systems are ideal for situations where there is limited space for outdoor units.
Polar Air Multi-Split system allows individual control of the air conditioning in each room. This not only optimises comfort but saves on running costs as wastage is eliminated by only air conditioning rooms as and when required. On top of the savings generated from the flexibility of  Multi-Split system, further cost reductions are achieved from the energy efficient benefits of  Inverter Technology.

Polar Air Conditionings Multi-Split systems are available in reverse cycle and cool only models.

    Single split systems

With a single split system, you would have one indoor unit connected to one outdoor unit called the condensing unit.  Therefore if you were to have 2 indoor units, then these units would be connected to two outdoor condensing units.  One advantage to this system is that if we were to assume that one unit fails, then the other unit will still function.  The other advantage to this system is that this system is relatively cheap to run and approximates to around 5 cents per hour running costs.  The reason for this being that a smaller condensing unit is used on the single split unit as opposed to the multi split system, the electricity consumption would be lower than the multi split system.

    Please Note.

We  have received a number of e-mails regarding the length of warranty given on the Panasonic range of products,it appears that some companies are misrepresenting the warranty period, claiming 5 years product warranty, Panasonic give 5 year compressor warranty only. The electrical side, ie fans and pcb controls are 2 years only

Also we have been asked if we can supply reverse osmosis units, we can and will install these on your development at the cost price of 97.00 euros installed whilst carring out your installation, however you might like to read our services section on below.

We have been asked. ”Can you supply the reverse osmosis Water unit ”The answer is yes. We can supply and install this for 97.50.

We must be honest, with you though  and give you all the details relating to reverse osmosis.

Reverse osmosis gives you good quality drinking water.

Although you should note for every Gallon of water produced it wastes 3-4 gallons in the cleaning process.

It also strips water so clean that it leaves no natural minerals in the water that our body needs. It is the equivulant of distilled water

It is suggested that if the storage water remains in the deposit tank longer than 1 month it should be emptied and allowed to recharge, So if you use your home only for holidays purposes, it could be that you waste 6- 8 gallons of water to produce that initial one gallon.

For reverse osmosis to be cheaper than bottled water you need to be resident here and consuming 3 gallons a day due to the wastage.

All these details can be found on the internet.

The last point is we have had two customers that have problems with them, the fact these units are mostly Chinese produced ,and of mainly plastic construction, they have leaked, one from the pressure gauge and one from the hose, Both customers used their homes for holiday purposes, on returning found extensive damage to the floor and kitchen units as they had been away for a number of months,  I think you should be careful in you consideration of one of these products.
